Special Hardware Requirements:
- One S7-200 CPU
- Two TD 200s (version 1.1 or later)
- Two TD/CPU cables (included with TD 200)
- One Siemens PC/PPI cable
- One PPI networking cable (optional)
- One external power supply for TD 200 (115 V or 220 V) (optional)
This program example shows several of the new features of the TD 200 operator interface (version 1.1 and later). It was created to help you become familiar with the text display unit. For additional information about the TD 200, see the SIMATIC TD 200 Operator Interface User Manual.
It is possible to connect multiple TD 200s to an S7-200 CPU. This program provides two TD 200s with different messages. If you do not have two TD 200s to connect to the S7-200, change the address for the parameter block in the setup menu of the TD 200.
