How to Use the PID Instruction Wizard

Note!  In the latest STEP 7-Micro/WIN Version 3.2 (or greater) the PID Instruction Wizard has been revised. 
As a result, this tip only applies to projects using Micro/Win versions prior to version 3.2.

Special Hardware Requirements:
One S7-200 PLC (CPU 215 or CPU 216)
One EM235 expansion module, analog combination AI 3/AQ 1 x 12 bits

The following S7-200 program provides a short example of how to use the PID Instruction Wizard. The PID Instruction Wizard is explained using an example of a water tank. The goal of the program is to maintain a constant water pressure and also to keep the tank from being emptied.
